We visited Bali in September 2023 but sadly were not able to get much birding done while there as I booked a guide who did turn up but knew nothing at all about birds or where to find them, however, we did manage to visit a bird park on the island. I am not ordinarily a big fan of bird parks but this one is quite heavily involved with conservation which is a good thing, especially for one species in particular.
